The X5.6 is a fifty-six foot, high performance cruising yacht designed for long distance cruising. She joins the highly successful and critically acclaimed Pure X range and is now the largest yacht in it.
The design philosophy was very clear from the outset - as with all yachts, X-Yacht placed great emphasis on providing the owner with an excellent and comfortable sailing experience on a yacht that is easy to handle by the entire crew.
1. hull
- KIEL STRUCTURE - Hot-dip galvanised steel frame for maximum strength and safety incl. integrated, central lifting device for the entire yacht.
- Recessed hull passages for a perfectly clean underwater hull and reduction of metal surfaces and resistance.
- Stern door / bathing platform - The platform is operated electrically via two drives, with an integrated attachment for an attached bathing ladder with teak steps and an automatic extension ladder with teak steps.
- Large hull windows in grey tinted, laminated, in front of tensioned glass.
- Dinghy GRP floor in RIB garage - with inspection hatch for lower rudder bearing

2. keel
Standard keel - 2.90m T keel with special hardened T-lead bulb. Bolted and glued to the cast-iron keel fin for maximum load-bearing capacity. Extra low centre of gravity for comfortable sailing behaviour. The keel is completely wrapped in 3 layers of CSM E-Glass with epoxy for protection. Guarantees perfect symmetry / keel shape and ensures maximum cruising characteristics. The keel is multi-bolted to the structural keel frame with stainless steel bolts for maximum safety.
